Fighting Racism With More Racism

The horrible Mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot, has decided not to give any interviews to anyone who is white and will only give interviews to 'people of color' (I despise that stupid term btw since I also have a color). Anyway, doesn't it seem a bit racist to exclude a group of people because of the way they look and to because of the content of their character or their professional resume? It seems to me like this kind of racism is coming back into style, including segregation, especially in some college campuses and schools that are pushing Critical Race Theory.

If this trend continues without major pushback from the worthless press and politicians, racism will take hold of this country and it's not going to be pretty. Recent attacks on Jews are not being condemned the way they would be if if the hateful attackers were colorless people, and that is a fact.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Back in my early school days I remember Crayolas having a "Flesh" color that was in every box. It was changed to."Peach" in 1962.

"White" is a misnomer as well. We certainly aren't white.

Many "Blacks" are actually "Dark Brown."

Native Americans aren't "Red" either.

So much for telling half the story. You neglected to include LIghtfoot's reasoning for doing this.

In a letter sent Wednesday to local media, Lightfoot argued that the overwhelming maleness and Whiteness of Chicago’s press corps — in a city where roughly two-thirds of the residents are people of color — did not adequately reflect the population and was a detriment to local media coverage.

DNA AND DENIAL OR ACCEPTANCE.....the factor of slavery is at the fore front....FINDING YOUR ROOTS
PBS series allows a full understanding that a large portion of the populace has a TRACEABLE trend
of black/white relationships in their past family heritage.....to the surprise or dismay of the guest.

Why does that matter Wayne? A journalist is a person who asks questions and reports a story as factually as they can (supposedly). Why would the race of the journalist change the story if the story is about the person being interviewed and has absolutely nothing to do with the journalist? Do you think a white journalist is more likely to lie? We know for sure that she would never take any questions from a conservative journalist, so why would she worry about skin color? This makes no sense to me but maybe you could explain it.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
