I just thought this was funny, considering how this administration acts like it has the answers when it comes to how we should get our energy to run this country.
Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday told graduating Naval Academy midshipmen that they may soon be able to pack a “rolled-up solar panel” instead of heavy batteries — an ahead-of-its-time substitute that, at the present moment, would not work so well at crucial moments for the top seamen and Marines.
“Just ask any Marine today: Would she rather carry 20 pounds of batteries or a rolled-up solar panel?” Harris told the Naval Academy’s 2021 class of 778 men and 306 women at their graduation ceremony in Annapolis, Md.
“And I am positive, she will tell you a solar panel. And so would he!” Harris said.
The vice president laughed as she made the last remark.
I bolded the last sentence because I find it interesting the way she always seems to laugh at her own words at the strangest times. As fo r the solar panel idea, it appears she doesn't realize that the solar panel requires a battery to store that power, it also requires the sun which is not always shining. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, even if the thought is idiotic.
I am NOT military minded(NO experience),but R these devices suitable? It would seem the government
would have the ability to adapt the capacity and usage to their advantage.

I'm aware of the solar products that have the ability to charge batteries. I'm also aware of how well they work when the sun is not shining. Maybe troops could carry a solar panel and a small windmill just to cover all the bases (unless there's no wind or sun).
Harris was talking about troops having to carry around heavy batteries... I guess she hasn't learned about lithium ion batteries yet.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
