New York City Mayoral Race Becomes a Hot Mess of Electronic Errors, Wrong Votes, Tabulation Mistakes and Uncertain Results

Wait, it’s impossible for election results to be electronically manipulated yet the New York city board of elections is now saying the entire mayoral race was messed up because electronic tabulation errors and test ballots and stuff.

The same officials who denounce any questions about voting outcomes in the 2020 presidential race are now saying the tabulation of the 2021 Mayoral race was wrong. The Democrat New York City Mayor even calls for a full and immediate recanvassing today, while the Democrat DOJ says recanvassing the vote in Arizona is akin to voter intimidation.

Mind you this is the Democratic Primary for Mayor. Barring a meteor wiping out NYC, the winner of this election will go on to win the November election.

I'm really confused about this. I could understand if this 'mistake' happened in some backwards Republican run city, but NYC? This city is full of the best and brightest liberals in the entire country, plus I've been told that our elections are always solidly reliable and there's really no way to commit a significant amount of fraud. I guess we should just chock it up to a rare and honest mistake.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

LOL. President Trump has to love this story. No wonder he lost, the Democrats in Blue States just added practice votes to the database. After reading a few stories about this, it sounds like NY has a long tradition of messing up elections.

Nobody willing to jump in and just say this kind of thing couldn't have ever happened before in an other elections? I suppose 100k in Russian Facebook ads is a much bigger threat to our election integrity LOL. Can't make this stuff up.

Wait - are you suggesting that NYC, which implemented a new voting system for this election, rigged the 2020 Presidential election? Are you insinuating that all blue cities rigged the 2020 election?

You have heard the phrase "correlation does not imply causation," haven't you?

Personally I don't care. But like I said in my post, Trump will use this as an example of how you can't trust elections in blue states. And like I said, this isn't the first time New York has majorly screwed up an election.

But you will always defend the Democrats, no matter how many times they screw up.

An in-depth reporting of the NYC Democrat primary.

www.zerohedge.com/political/eric-adams-f...ard-botches-election

The city’s Election Board, which is run by Democrats and Republicans, on Tuesday night said it inadvertently added some 135,000 so-called “test ballots” to the count, throwing the process into disarray. The agency released the data as part of a simulation of how ranked-choice voting would play out following the initial count of votes.

"Adams, a former police officer, had emerged as the Democrat frontrunner following the initial vote count on Primary Day last week. But he lost much of his lead and was ahead of Kathryn Garcia, the city’s former sanitation commissioner, by about 15,900 votes, or around 2 percent, after the Board of Elections released the latest data on Tuesday.

Adams’ campaign publicly pointed out the vote discrepancy shortly after the faulty count was released.

Later, in a statement at around 10:30 p.m. ET, the Board said that the 135,000 ballot images it placed into its election systems for testing reasons were never cleared."

Note that fact that the apparent winner of the Primary is a former police officer.

The election board is run by both Democrats and Republicans.

Some very "touchy" posts.

What does the fact that the election board is both R & D have to do with the botching of the vote count?

Fred said I defend the Democrats, no matter how many times they screw up, implying that the Dems screwed up this election. I pointed out that the NY election board is comprised of both parties.
