It's also an example of quickly identifying a large bloc of votes that looked suspicious. Now, if they hadn't found and deleted them before the final total was announced, then yeah, it would be troublesome.

The main factor is trust. We have to trust extremely partisan individuals to not only catch 'mistakes', but to not commit fraud themselves. If you had the power to stop someone you believed was as bad as Hitler, you can't tell me you wouldn't contemplate doing whatever it took to stop him and be a hero.
Our election process should be 100% secure and extremely difficult if not impoissible for partisan humans to ilegally tip the scales. Democrats are all for ballot harvesting and many don't even want voters to prove they are eligible to vote. Dems say they want to make it easier, but easier is also less secure when you remove the safegaurds that make elections verifiably accurate.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Do you have proof that the last election had equal representatives that were able to observe the counting (close enough to actually read ballots) and that there was an equal number of eyes when it came to the chain of custody of ballots? So many election laws were changed at the last minute that I don't see how anything could be certain.
