When Will Joe Biden Tap Out?

01 Jul 2021 19:15 #1 by Rick
To be clear, I'm talking about a mental tap out. Some of you will call me nuts for making this prediction because you don't see his rapid mental decline or you see it but just can't get yourselves to admit it. If you watch video of Joe just 4 or 5 yers ago you'll see a guy who could still stay focused and complete sentences without reading them.

If you think I'm nuts, feel free to put your opinion on record and let me know how off base I am. If you believe as I do, make your guess as to when Joe will be shuffled out.

When the president does leave office, there will be some kind of excuse that has noting to do with his mental capacity... more likely some other 'illness'. Probably the best play for Democrats would be for him to be "Clintoned", but that's less likely.

So I'm predicting Biden will be gone by Jan 1 2023. Harris is a train wreck so the Dems will need to give her replcaement enough time to get traction.

Now, give me your best shot.

I wish I could read your mind so I could understand how you actually feel about the actual topic.

Do you believe Biden will make it 4 years? If you have any doubt that he will, why would that be?

I guess I disagree with you about President Biden's mental well being. He was already losing it during the Obama years. I think they will keep him propped up until 2024 because Kamala Harris is not qualified to run the country. (Unless he flatlines)

I remember seeing multiple posts about Trump's mental and physical health (i.e. his shuffling gait, awkward leaning forward, inability to speak well, his dilated eyes, especially after that rushed visit for a "physical" and his bout with COVID-19) and those who were greatly against him claiming regularly that he should be 25th Amendment'ed because he was addicted to Adderall, had suffered a stroke, etc etc.

I also recall Ronald Reagan and how he was suffering Alzheimer's while President.

The Presidency is supported by vast committees/bureaucracies/multiple layers of support and government. Unless he suffers an acute incident, I highly doubt Biden will not serve out his term, and yes, I'd be willing to bet money on that. I don't disagree that he's slowed down mentally, but even at reduced capacity, he's a far better leader than a malignant narcissistic grifter who didn't even understand how his own government worked or what he was allowed/not allowed to do.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Maybe next time the voters will nominate candidates in their 40's and 50's instead of their 70's. Being POTUS is a mentally and physically draining position that ages office holders dramatically. Bad idea to choose candidates already well past retirement age.

Just pointing out that Trump will be 78 in 2024, well past the age that Fred considers a prime age for candidates.
