Works for me. It's bi-partisan, and fair.

Colorado’s county clerks recommend election-system changes to quash conspiracy theories
Sandra Fish, The Colorado Sun | Jul 1, 2021

Colorado’s county clerks are pushing for a host of changes to the state’s election system in an effort to quash conspiracy theories stemming from the 2020 election, including improvements to ballot-signature verification and making images of ballots available to the public.

The Colorado County Clerks Association pitched the recommendations Tuesday to the Bipartisan Election Advisory Commission, a panel of county clerks, state election officials and interest groups. The 23-member commission, which advises the Secretary of State’s Office, received the proposals on Tuesday at the end of its meeting. Much of the meeting centered on persistent, false allegations of fraud in the presidential contest.

Matt Crane, executive director of the Colorado County Clerks Association, said his group’s recommendations would build on a “model that is one of the best, if not the best, in the country.”

Clerks want more transparency. ...Crane said county clerks also would like to see a signature-verification audit system implemented to ensure election judges are properly and consistently validating signatures on mail-in ballots. There’s currently no formal audit process for signatures in state law or rules. Clerks also recommended a similar audit process to verify voter registration rolls.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Americans are losing faith in the election process so I think we need to do what we can to convince voters that only valid voters are getting to decide who our representatives are. Both sides feel this way. Stacy Abrams and Hillary Clinton thinks their elections were stolen. As do President Trump and others.

And polls reveal 75% have no problems requiring photo ID's to vote.

I really worry what happens when America feels they can no longer trust the election process. Right now three candidates are suing the NYC voting commission over the last election after mistakes were found.

And while it is popular, I don't think "ranked choice voting" is a good idea right now. It will only further the current confusion.

Maybe voters should be forced to run a gauntlet of Republicans lining both sides of the sidewalks leading to the voting booths. Not sure what to do about mail-in voting (like Colorado) where no fraud was found.

Maybe no fraud was found because the Democrat Secretary of State didn't want to find any that would make Coloradoans question the election? Like the way Wuhan politicians tried to hide the true Covid-19 statistics from their bosses in Beijing?

So, the individual County Clerks (many of them Republicans) just kept their mouths shut about voter fraud in Colorado's elections, along with their respective County Republican groups? That's really a stretch. Even more trying to bring COVID into the equation. Unproven apples and oranges, Fred, with no basis in fact.

Maybe the fraud was at the state level only.

Yeah! Maybe it was at the State level only and all the Colorado County Clerks didn't notice the results they reported are different from the State-reported results...

Or maybe you're just pulling maybe's out of thin air.

We know if there were irregularities that made the Democrats look like they had committed fraud, their friends in the press would cover it up. LOL, there are a couple stories about people who committed voter fraud in Texas. NPR's take? The penalty of five years in jail is too harsh! We should just give them a small fine. They were casting illegal votes for Democrats, of course.

It would be great if this actually happened. I've been getting my mom's ballots for about 15 years now and she moved out of my house 12 years ago and lives in Texas.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
