Would have America have got their independence from Britain if they had banned slavery in the Declaration of Independence? Unlikely. Some signers took weeks to actually put their "John Hancock's " on it. Could New England have won by itself? Sometimes you have to take baby steps.

And then you ask why "past " sins are not in the past. Centuries worth of worthless words,with NO real
sustenance behind them.

I am beyond saddened that there are NOT ethnic people on this site....the input from that sector would
be truly enlightening.

Contrary to your opinion, most change is gradual and slow, not a 4th or 5th turning. Colonization in America was almost a 200 year process. The nation? Only a little more than two hundred years old.
