It sounds as if you don't know this: SOME Capitol Police let them through SOME of the barriers. There wasn't just one set of barriers and SOME officers fought the mob. This will come out in more detail, I'm sure, during the Select Committee investigation. I'm going to be interested in hearing WHY some Capitol Police let the insurrectionists pass.

Exactly! The pro-Trump protesters were in DC. The anti-Trump arsonists and cop haters were in Democrat cities around the nation. Maybe Pelosi knows they are the more dangerous groups? Meanwhile DC fencing is starting to be taken down.
