“Your demography does not decide your destiny. Your zip code shouldn’t determine whether or not you have resources and a quality education.”
I didn't major in English, but to me this sounds like she thinks parents should have a choice as to which school their children can attend. Do any of you have a different interpretation of those sentences?
Sounds like he approves of charter and magnet schools. Let the parents and students who still give a damn recieve good educations. For the parents who just need babysitting, the NEA has lots of teachers for that too.

Yup, but if she was really honest and really cared about the youth in this country she would also admit that we spend way more money than any country in the world for our shitty public schools and still rank in the 30th or higher on average. Democrats want us to spend even more money and don't want parents to have a choice. I guess this is one of the ways Americans are lacking in freedom.
