Rather than deal with small matters such as a Federal Budget, reducing our national debt, response to the Cuban uprising, etc.
Congress squanders its time with major issues such as whether women should register for the draft.
It is doubtful the draft will come back any time soon, so they do just want the ability to register women at this time. I do know when I registered that not registering did carry some penalties.
