Major Story Media Ignores

I’m no journalist, but if I was, I would be reporting on something nobody else seems to want to touch.

So the all knowing Fauci recently said that one of the biggest problems unvaccinated people can cause is the evolution of virus variants like the Delta. Ok, that seems like a legitimate concern, right? So where did the Delta variant originate from? Wasn’t it India or some country outside the US that has low or non-existent vaccine rates?

If we are to believe that non-vaccinated people are the sources for these new present and future variants, why don’t we care about the million people who have already crossed our southern border since January? Try crossing into Canada right now, good luck. So where is the media on this and why is the policy of placing hundreds of thousands of unvaccinated people from other low vax counties not news worthy. Are those future Democrat voters so important to import that we should risk bringing in new variants which will continue to hold back our struggling economy?

I’m hoping someone can explain why this shouldn’t be a major story. Would it be a big story if Trump was still President?

Governor Polis said on KOA this morning that masks are 50% effective compared to vaccines. But it is amazing that flight crews are not getting Covid-19 from their passengers.

Well, this thread is about unknown people breaking into the country by the hundreds of thousands and the solution would begin with new leadership that has common sense and isn't willing to sacrifice American health for future dependent voters.

As for your 'sidebar', I think every country has the right to protect themselves from people who come from other countries and have not been vaccinated, just like at the border. When Trump banned flights from China at the beginning of this mess everyone on the left freaked out, but it was the smart thing to do.

Hardly a ban... Chinese Americans were free to come and go.

Other countries, including Japan, Singapore and Korea, had a significant number of coronavirus cases, but they weren’t subject to Trump's travel restrictions. Indeed, on Jan. 24, a week before the travel restrictions, the CDC confirmed two cases of the novel coronavirus in the U.S. from people who had returned from Wuhan, China, where the outbreak began.

Furthermore, Klain said, the import of goods from China is exempt from the travel restrictions, “and, of course, the people who fly the planes and drive the boats that bring those goods from China. We couldn’t ban that activity. We vitally need that. Ninety percent of the antibiotics in this country come from China. All kinds of vital medical supplies … we will use to treat people. So, travel bans … that’s not what we’re imposing, that’s not what exists.”

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS is a direct quote....that could ALSO describe the amount of tourists/foreigners that travel thru our airports on an hourly basis.....times,24 hours,times 7 days a week,
times 52 weeks.....HOW IS THAT NOT CONTRIBUTING to the problem of non vacced persons???

I agree, and if you look back I gave you a solution but you obviously didn't read it.

Why can't you address the topic, which is a million illegals from poor unvaxxed countries pouring into our cities. Not only do we have to worry about them bringing coivid, we also have to pay for their ability to survive. How many millions can we take in this way until our services become overwhelmed.

We know who is coming here on planes because they have to have ID's and those people are not just blending into our society forever and sharing the services we all have to pay for. Please try to consider the topic, just once.
