Mayor Hancock has flip flopped after previously telling Denver employees in a town hall that there would be no vaccine mandate. He is also requiring it for non-city employees in certain fields.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
You do know that proof of vaccination is require for other activities, like public schools? Currently, to attend public school:
all 50 states and DC require vaccinations for diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis; polio; measles and rubella (49 states and DC also require mumps vaccination); and the varicella (chickenpox) vaccination. 43 states and DC require hepatitis B vaccination (Alabama, Illinois, Maine, Montana, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Texas do not) to enter kindergarten. Some states require Hib, PCV, and Hep A vaccines to enter kindergarten. As of Aug. 19, 2020, Massachusetts is the first and only state to require the flu vaccine. Many states require more vaccines as the children age, for example West Virginia requires the meningitis vaccine at the CDC-recommended age (11-12 years old).
No where did I say anything about whether I do support or not support vaccination. I was vaccinated against Covid-19 as soon as possible. I also used to work for a company that mandated we had to be vaccinated against the seasonal flu for 27 years. I also belive vaccines have done more to improve the lives of human than any other form of medicine. I just stated a politician lied to city workers.

Nowhere did I state that you were against vaccinations. I merely demonstrated that vaccines are required - mandated - by the government for certain activities. It's not an unusual requirement, regardless of what many conservatives believe.

It is actually pretty unusual. I can't remember any time in my lifetime where the government mandated a vaccine that was not yet FDA approved. These are the very same vaccines that both Harris and Biden were skeptical about becase it was developed under Trump's leadership.
I'd like our government to talk about all the people who have already had Covid and have natural immunity. I'd like to see them talk about that science a little, but they never do.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Having Covid does not give you natural immunity. There is a Congressman who had Covid last fall and has caught it again. That was reported just last week, I think.
