Recently the NIH endorsed parents wear masks if they will be in contact with their unvaccinated children. Would you do this in your home?

Anyone who wears a mask at home alone with their children is an idiot and their children are likely to grow up and be idiots as well.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Yes, I would if my doctor recommended it. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child because I accidently gave them COVID-19. My understanding is that even vaccinated people can spread the virus. Time will tell if this is the right call but I would certainly err on the side of caution, if it involved my child.

Wayne, I think you misunderstand. The mask is to save you from your unvaccinated children.

You beat me too it. Wayne doesn't know that the flu is more deadly to children yet nobody has ever suggested parents walk around their own homes wearing a stupid mask. I survived being raised by two liberal chain smokers who smoked in the car with the windows up.

Where did you get that idea?

The head of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on Tuesday afternoon tried to walk back his comments from earlier in the day suggesting that parents wear masks at home to protect unvaccinated children.

Dr. Francis Collins said "it’s clear" that the delta variant was capable of causing serious illness in kids while addressing whether young children should avoid indoor situations.

He noted that while rare, there are many examples of young people being sickened by the virus and cited new recommendations for kids under 12 to avoid being in places where they might get infected and recommendations for universal masking at schools, and even for adults at home.

So Wayne, have you been paying attention as to how Sweden has handled kids in school?

The Sweden numbers are amazing. They locked up the seniors and started out with high death totals but didn't lock down the economy or require masks. After 18 months? Their numbers resemble the nations that did like the UK. And same thing in the US. Many of the death totals don't equate with lockdowns, masks, and vaccination rates.
