52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days. This was 1979, one of the leaders of the hostage taking went on to be the leader, chose your own term, of the Irani government in the 90's.
I guess we'll have to wait a few years for a Republican to get elected as president and rerun Reagan's fix for Carter's inept policies. Hopefully there will still be people alive to save.
