No Worries, the UN Has This

Strongly worded statements should do it...

“I strongly urge the Taliban to adopt norms of responsive governance and human rights, and to work to re-establish social cohesion and reconciliation – including through respect for the rights of all who have suffered during the decades of conflict,” she added further in her speech. “A fundamental red line will be the Taliban's treatment of women and girls, and respect for their rights to liberty, freedom of movement, education, self-expression and employment, guided by international human rights norms. In particular, ensuring access to quality secondary education for girls will be an essential indicator of commitment to human rights.”

I guess they know more about the Taliban than I do, because I would have thought those words would be as meaningless to the Taliban as any of Biden's demands.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

The US and 93 other nations have negotiated with the Taliban and it looks like Afghans will hopefully be allowed to keep on evacuating.

There appears to be some schisms developing with the Taliban after their victory. Some want a hardcore Islamic theocracy with no music, dancing and few women's rights. Others are worried the nation will suffer unless they look more accepting of women's rights and permissive to the different tribes in the nation.
Afghanistan is going to miss all that American aid they have received for the last twenty years, maybe bribing some key government officials could protect the rights of women there.
