If the GOP wins back the House in 2022, do you think they will launch impeachment proceedings against President Biden? Probably the hotheads will demand it, but the more moderate members probably correctly surmise a weak and senile chief executive would be easier to defeat in 2024. Then again VP Kamala Harris would probably be easy to defeat too.

If we were to use the same ultra low bar the Democrats set for impeachment, Biden would not only be impeached, he would be tried for treason.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I agree with your assessment. Impeachment is a finding from the House of Representatives, nothing more. Requiring a 2/3 vote in the Senate means that it will go no further.
It would be interesting to see how the powers that be in the Establishment react. Would they support Slo Joe into the 2024 election? Understand that if the Republicans wrest control of the House and decide to impeachment they can make the process last 18 or so months rather than the rush that the democrats had. Would the MSM refuse to cover the hearings?
Lots of variables will be weighed into the decision if the House is in the position that it would consider the impeachment of a man suffering from senile dementia.
He might very well resign for health reasons, then Kamala. My understanding is that the incoming President offers to the Senate an individual to be Vice-President. My statement is based on the fact that Gerald Ford put forth Nelson Rockefeller's name as V-P to the senate and he was confirmed. Whi would Kamala put forth?
This is a great hot-stove (baseball reference) topic.

Nancy Pelosi? She was about to retire anyway, make her VP. Good way to honor the Pelosi political machine which stretched from Baltimore to San Francisco.

Being a good politician she took her husband's name. She is the daughter of Tommy D'Alesandro, Jr, who was the mayor of Baltimore in the 50's. Tammany Hall had no leg up on D'Alesandro's machine.
