Pushing really really bad policies without a voter mandate should always be met with major roadblocks. Personally, I'm looking forward to this:
Lawmakers, including Democrats, are vowing to grill administration officials over the Afghanistan exit, where the administration was caught off guard by the Taliban’s quick rise and overestimated both the Afghan government and military.
Though Democrats largely agree with Biden’s ultimate endgame, withdrawing U.S. military forces, the president has found little cover from Democratic lawmakers over his handling of the exit.
“The U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee should quickly begin investigating the rapid collapse of the Afghan government and forces after two decades of American investment of resources and troops, and why we were unable to better anticipate it,” Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) said in a statement.
The American's and the Afghans who helped us but are stranded and at the mercy of terrorists are the number one problem right now, not some bullshit 5 trillion green new deal crap that won't do squat to help Americans. Our weak leaders need to be held accountable before we can just move on to brain dead Pelosi/Schumer bills that make zero sense right now.
Luckily for the Democrats, our elections are no longer ours...
And incidentally, the term for what they're doing to the USA was once the title of a Sopranos episode; "Bust Out".
You "partner" with a business owner, and then max-out his credit buying everything in sight, and then selling it all for cash out the back door.
And once your "partners" credit is irreversibly ruined, the business gets burned to the ground for the insurance money.
But for us owners of the USA, and the treasonous multi-trillion dollar debts soon to pass, there will be no insurance money, only a complete and total bankruptcy...

U R NEW (I think)....my posts (forever)...have talked about the 4th Turning (it is real,do some research)THIS
is the FOURTH TURNING...(think the original Boston Tea Party...u have the gist)....a do over of our
way of governing is being forced upon us. JMO
Fourth turning? Strangely enough when everything is changing around us, politics actually seems quite stable, a bunch of old, white men in power, with a sprinkling of old, white women to assist them. Democrats want to spend 4.5 trillion despite the narrowest majorities in two decades. A smart DNC would offer a more reasonable spending plan.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
BUT, Fred...that is the point...U already had a mad as a hornet Marine(?) RESIGN/quit ,saying BOOMERS
need to bag it and get the hell out,so the Gen x,y,z can pickup the reins of our ruined government and
GET IT DONE.

Not trying to rip on you, but I don't understand some of your post. First off are "old White men and women" really in power? Where? Do you mean because they were fairly elected by other Whites?
Second, please explain what is wrong with Whites "in power" in a nation Whites founded? Do you also object to old Japanese men in power in Japan? Old Jewish men in power in Israel? Maybe you simply dislike old people..?
And maybe you should let our media know that Whites are "in power", because every tv show and commercial I see depicts Blacks, especially Black women as judges, doctors, CEO's... Powerful people right?

What makes you think gens x,y, and z have the answers? After all, who has been teaching these people over the last 30 years? They've been taught by the leftist baby boomers, the same people who have failed to understand how capitalism creates prosperity, the same people who don't understand that reviving racism and class envy actually divides us and makes it far less likely for the US to come back from the brink. "We" have not taught these younger generations how to make a strong country, they have been taught the opposite of what the founders knew would make this country special and prosperous... they have been taught that bigger government and less personal responsibility is somehow the answer.
