San Francisco Mayor Finds New Tool to Block Covid Spread

Apparently, feeling "the spirit" is more effective than a mask.

Breed on Thursday was spotted inside the city's Black Cat Nightclub sans mask, despite issuing a mandate last month that all individuals - whether they are vaccinated against the coronavirus or not - have to wear a face covering if they are not actively eating or drinking....

"I'm being careful to not only protect myself and other people, but this is nitpicking, this is really unfortunate," she said. "And let me tell you, when the spirit moves you because you are watching history in the making, Bay Area royalty perform, I don't know about you but I'm not going to turn around and look for where my mask is or look to see if I'm picking up a drink. I'm just going to let the spirit move me."

You can blame hypocrites like this for anti-mask anger.

While attending the Colorado Symphony, Friday, neither the woodwinds, brass (nor the conductor) wore masks for obvious reasons. When asked why I was not wearing a mask I pointed out this out. The response"Well they are vaccinated". I stated , "So am I". The response, "Have a nice concert, sir." Should have stated that I was feeling the spirit.

, I saw this headline "Texas restaurant asks patrons to leave because they wouldn't remove their masks." Sub-head they were wearing masks because their 4 m.o. is immunocompromised. The bar clearly states that it does not serve masked individuals.
Well reading further into the article, the child has cystic fibrosis and the restaurant was a Bar and Grill.
What caring parent takes a 4 m.o. with cystic fibrosis to a sports bar regardless of the Covid situation?
Did they feel the spirit?

Well, those are the same kind of "sophisticated" people who attended Obama's birthday bash, so obviously they are not a danger to anyone.

I especially love that they forced the staff to continue to wear masks. America has stopped being a classless society.

From HA's citation:
" It has now been 2 months since Tara got that Moderna injection. Some of her regret has subsided, but not quite all. She still hasn't decided when she will get the second shot. "

It may be different in Canada but the CDC in the U.S. :
The recommended interval between the first and second dose is:

Three weeks (21 days) apart for Pfizer-BioNTech
Four weeks (28 days) apart for Moderna

This source indicates the LONGER interval between shots the more effective....J&J came out with data AFTER the other two pharmco shots....more precise info and LARGER trial groups.
