There will soon be a vote in the US House on an amendment to the National Defense Authorization act that will prohibit the Biden Administration from giving Dishonorable Discharges to members of the armed forces that refuse the Covid-19 shot.
LOL. I find it very silly for US troops to refuse this vaccination after years of getting eight to ten vaccinations in one day. When you join the military, you agree to hand over your freedom, in fact, even after you get discharged, they have the right to call you back whenever they want. Suck it up GI's.

Fred,
Are you saying that soldiers that have contracted Covid and have natural immunity should be jabbed regardless of the fact that they have antibodies?
I want to make sure that I do not misinterpret what you are saying. I read your comment to mean that young healthy men and women with existing Covid antibodies should be forced to take the shot because it won't hurt them. Is that correct?
Well, if it won't hut them, how will it help them?
Note that I do not agree with the proposition "it will not hurt them".
Can I also assume that you are in favor of dishonorably discharging any armed services member that refuses the shot?
Right now tens of millions of Americans are getting the vaccine who have already got Covid-19 earlier in 2021 and 2020. I am in favor of Americans getting their vaccines but not in favor of vaccine mandates, but military folk are a different story. How many do you think will resign rather than get the vaccine? One percent? Five percent? I doubt it will get up to 5%.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
As you know, enlisted personnel cannot resign.
In that you are not in favor of mandates except for the military and a dis honorable discharge is the penalty for refusing the shot, I will put you down as in favor of discharging dishonorably enlisted men and women who refuse the shot.
Save their lives? Do you not know what the rate of death is for people under 25 who get covid? If you really don't believe in forcing people to get a shot they are not comfortable with, then why would you exempt the military from having that right? It's already tough enough to get people to enlist with all the woke leftist bullshit, why give people more reason to avoid signing up?
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Because the military is quite different from civilian life. I wasn't required to get an anthrax vaccination but they were despite no one in the US military dying of anthrax in the last fifty years.
