In another thread the increase in the crime rate was posted. Sorry, but I could not find it. My point here is that Massachusetts State Patrol is not the only law enforcement agency facing a mandate.
Perhaps I should also have asked what the effect of the mandate will have on health care. For example, a hospital in NY has shut down their maternity ward due to lack of staffing.
Sadly, for the establishment these are jobs that the illegal aliens cannot do but Americans can.

I am guessing that the troopers quitting was a camel/last straw decision. Probably already upset with attacks on the police from local and national politicians, plus being restricted from using chokeholds and other effective tactics, being forced to get a shot was the final straw.

No worries fellas, Democrats have promised to 'reimagine law enforcement' , which would include replacing police with social workers. For this promise, the majority of violent criminals have agreed to treat these new peace keepers with respect and will fully comply with their orders.

The social workers paired with police officers is already a trial program. I do wonder if the trial gets shut down the first time a social worker is gunned down while the police officer waits outside so the incident doesn't "escalate".
