I'm trying to understand how anyone who cares about the rising crime rate could be satisfied with the way Democrats across the country are dealing with it. I could post 100 pages of idiocy but I'll just start with this one.
Illinois prosecutors rejected charging five suspects in a deadly gang-related shootout that unfolded in Chicago, despite police reportedly seeking to charge all five suspects with murder and aggravated battery....
By Sunday morning, however, they were released without charges.
"Mutual combatants was cited as the reason for the rejection," a police report reviewed by the Chicago Sun Times said of the state attorney’s office’s decision. The report also noted that the suspects weren’t cooperating with investigators.
Mutual combat is a legal phrase defined as a "fight into which both parties enter willingly, or in which two persons, upon a sudden quarrel, and in hot blood, mutually fight upon equal terms."
Well, as long as long as the criminals are shooting each other on an equal playing field, the survivor gets to go free! Every city run by these morons will fall and the left will scratch their heads and wonder why.
Studies say criminals usually commit multiple crimes before going to jail. Will they commit even more crimes if they no longer have to worry about prison?

We should see if we can find and ask Captain Obvious about that one. If you're a Democrat governor, mayor, or DA, that question would require a 10 year study in order to answer it.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
