the more 'we' forget that freedom must always be fought for, because once they take it, they never give it back. I'm watching this fascist mugging of citizens in Melbourne for covid violations. Our DOJ is now recognizing some parent protestors as terrorists. Half the country will be furious and the other half will say they should just comply and trust. Are we going to be assaulted by the state in the near future if another virus pops up and we refuse to cower in our homes?
Well, we have one thing Australia no longer has, the right to defend one's self with a firearm. That makes it very easy and a lot less risky when you're enacting your authoritarian sweeping of rights. I wouldn't put it past these idiots to try, but I think their biggest problem would be getting the military and police forces to comply. The people who protect us have not been treated well by the left, and they will remember that.
I wish everyone would understand where we are trending, because it will one day be too late.
