Happy Indigenous People's Day!

Columbus Day was created by Italian Americans to celebrate their heritage and show other Americans that they too helped to found this nation.

I posted this earlier under the same heading .

Interestingly The Columbus Day holiday was created by President Benjamin Harrison in 1892. This was done because of the lynching of 11 Italians

So a minority group that faced discrimination were given a national holiday to celebrate their heritage. They started having parades to show that they were Americans too! At one time Italians weren't considered "white".

Now Italians have been displaced by Spaniards as to not being white. They are Hispanic or Latino (I have never understood the distinction). Unless you are a white-hispanic for reporting purposes.

Progressives measure all history by the current standards of 2021... except for the Democrat party , their KKK history is not only forgiven, it's completely forgotten. Do you think public schools teach that history?
