I don't like many rap songs, but this is good and it's accurate. It's nice to see this message hitting the ears of the young and ill-informed. This is currently #1 on the hip hop charts.

Perhaps we can delve into the lyrics of some of the Rappers that have been to the White House during the Obama administration. Sorry, just words.

I expected a reaction like that ramage, that's why I said I thought it was accurate. Around here we analyze every word and phrase against fact checkers or journalists who are supposedly smarter than the rest of us.

I see the song as a big picture of what a lot of people are feeling right now. I see us headed straight toward socialism unless those currently in charge get booted. This 3.5-5.5 trillion dollar bullshit bill is the beginning of an accelerated dependency on government that we will never be able to reverse. Too much of the population has already been conditioned to comply and to expect government to take care of them with more and more free stuff. That wouldn't be as bad if we had a healthy economy and our debt wasn't growing exponentially with every new added entitlement.

I know you don't see the country like I do SC, and we certainly don't agree about who should lead it. So it's no surprise you don't have the same gut feelings I do as I watch this country repeating the same bad ideas other failed countries have tried, The goal of Democrats is to convince the population that it should trust the government to run their lives and to protect them, even as they are currently failing in epic fashion. You can call it socialism or Marxism, or communism, but it always requires the same things. Religion must be replaced by government and children must be indoctrinated early so they are fully on board once they are able to vote.

This virus came at a perfect time, almost too coincidental. They were able to shut down our economy and force small businesses to close while the big businesses reaped the rewards. Churches were forced to close but you could walk into a packed Home Depot or Costco. Children lost the most and are still being forced to wear masks even though their risk is lower than a normal flu season. The only good thing that happened is that we were all made aware of the indoctrination children have been forced to endure. Teachers are 100% essential, yet the teachers unions and many teachers demanded to stay home at the detriment of the kids, and our government bowed to their demands.

So SC, I can't give you indisputable evidence that there is an actual war on religion, or kids, or on freedom itself, but IN MY OPINION, we are headed to a place where all three of those are in danger and I'm not alone. I'll continue to post evidence of progressive/socialist damage as it happens, unless I am no longer able to speak freely here.

What disheartens me is that I can afford $5 per gallon gas and a 20% increase in foodstuffs. But most cannot.

I could be wrong about where this country is headed, especially since the world is going to end in ten years anyway due to climate change. At the rate our leaders are taking us down, we may actually destroy ourselves before the earth gets that chance.

Even though we don't see the big picture the same SC, I appreciate your response.

After a little reflection, I'm going to give the win to you on this one SC. I've been really pissed off about what I'm seeing in this country right now and I replaced facts with emotion. I think I know how progressives feel about religion, government, and how our children should be taught, but I shouldn't have used this video to make that point. I honestly just want to debate what is happening with facts, logic, and common sense... this thread did not achieve that goal. I really do appreciate your input SC, even though we rarely agree. I'd also like to see Wayne come back and anyone else who wants to challenge what I and other right leaners post. Anyway, thanks for reigning me in SC, I'll try to practice what I preach with more than just emotion.

GOOD ON U.....for reflection and redirection. I just think U (collectively)have to take the LONG view. And know that what is occurring is a realignment for AMERICA....it is not pretty,it is not comfortable and it is
messy,but necessary. In several years the WHOLE of the nation will have under gone a metamorphosis.

Some things will have been removed,replaced with a better model,somethings will be improved, but will
remain and somethings will be in wait and see status. NOTHING remains unchanged or static.

Well HA, I've yet to see anything I could consider 'built back better' so if you have examples, I'd love to see them. If there are any plans being pushed by this administration that you believe are not only better but achievable without negative consequences, I'd love to discuss those plans and how they would work. So far all I've seen is really bad moves that will make our lives more difficult across the board.
