This bill raises marijuana taxes in order to fund alternatives to the poor public school system in the state.
The tax would increase from 15% to 20%.
This one has been dividing Republicans in Colorado. Some want to increase sin taxes. Others in the GOP are against any new taxes. I haven't see where Democrats are polling on this, but I have to think this one will lose.
I am voting against the tax increase.
