Democrats Back Down On $600 IRS Reporting

The people have spoken and after weeks of bad polling, the Democrats and Janet Yellen have backed down on forcing banks to record every transaction of $600 and above. They sold it as a plan to make billionaires pay their fair share, but America realized it was mainly going to be used against low income Americans moonlighting for a little extra cash over the holidays. Bravo! IRS has very good success going after poor and middle class Americans who would rather pay up than have to hire lawyers and tax accountants to defend themselves.

Even liberals are starting to say "wtf are these people doing?". I had a recent breakthrough with my own liberal parents who had to admit that this administration does not represent the Democrat party they once knew. Progress!

A recent poll I saw had 20% of Democrats disappointed with this administration. I expect that number to rise quickly in 2022.

Conspiracy fans believe that the $600 number was chosen so that the partisan IRS knows to audit Americans who support GOP candidates and causes. Remember Lois Lerner?

They didn't back down on anything. They just changed it to a yearly figure to make it not seem as invasive.

They're using the same strategy with the 3.5 trillion they can't agree on. They make it for a shorter period of time to bring the price tag down, knowing full well that once you give people free stuff, it's impossible for anyone to take it back without losing an election. These Democrats are masters of deception.

You should probably remind me of all the free stuff Trump and Republicans promised us in order to buy our votes. I'll wait...

Stuff like building a wall instead of letting unvaccinated illegals cross the border and be resettled by midnight flights across the nation.
