The West Virginia Democrat senator is refusing to vote for Biden's extravagant 3.5 trillion dollar spending bill. He will only agree to a much more reasonable 1.5 trillion dollar plan. He is threatening to leave the party if they don't submit to his demands. West Virginia is a Republican state according to their vote for Trump so it just might make sense to join the GOP. But I think the most likely result will be he becomes an independent. The Democrats would have a tough time defeating him in this coal mining state.
