Build Back Better Scaling Back?

President Biden is out there acting like the full bill will pass but two courageous Democrat senators are doing a better job of cutting spending than President Trump and Senator McConnell ever did. Good job Senators Manchin and Sinema!

While I agree they are saving Americans from something that will cause a lot of damage, I don't see them as being courageous, I see them as just trying to save their careers. If they were really courageous and "moderate", they would become independents and tell the radical Democrats to pound sand. Democrats would spend 10 trillion if given the opportunity because they don't understand economics and since their ideas suck so bad, their only play is to create massive entitlements that will never be removed. They can't convince people that their policies will give Americans a better future, so their only play is to buy off as many voters as possible.

And one more thing... the only way we will ever be able to stop these people is to play by their rules. Their strategy is to jam through as much as possible, even when they clearly don't have a mandate. Biden wrote a record number of executive orders because he could and because his party wanted him to.

If the next Republican president is a "moderate", Republicans will accomplish nothing but watered down Democrat policies because moderates are always afraid of getting criticized by the media. Dems don't have that problem, Dems can bail out rioters who burn down buildings and the media stays silent.

If we are lucky enough to be saved, it's going to have to be a Republican that plays like Pelosi and goes full on scorched earth to destroy as much of the Democrat policies as possible. That president needs to have principles that he or she sticks with, which means they can not be a moderate.

I think it is too late for that. America is lost, but I will continue to fight a valiant rear guard.

Example? President Biden took 800 staffers to Rome with him for the Global Climate Seminar. Doesn't he understand the nation is 29 trillion in debt? Doesn't he understand that bringing only thirty people is better for the environment? And doesn't he realize he is creating a super spreader event bringing over 800 people and later returning them to DC?

I wonder how many of those people he's taking over there actually have a reason for needing to be there. Sounds like a nice vacation for taxpayer funded leaches to me.

On a different note, I can't wait to hear all of Biden's fresh verbal gaffes that will embarrass us yet again.

And now it looks like President Biden wants to start voting on the bill before it is even written. Let the American people and their representatives see the bill for a couple weeks so we can actually read it! What a concept! Transparent legislation. Why won't they let us see what is in the bill? Are they ashamed?

This is what I've been talking about, scorched earth approach to governing. You don't need a mandate and you certainly don't need to be transparent when you know what's god for the people. Republicans have to remember this and never play fair again or they will be rolled every time.
