NBC reporter Kelli Stavast was interviewing Brown during the chants, and quickly spoke over them, saying, “You can hear the chants from the crowd. Let’s go Brandon!”

I wonder if NBC fired her? She tried her best not knowing that it would gain such notoriety.

She knew full well what they were chanting so I'm certain she wishes she just kept her mouth shut. It's now an international joke.

There are a few rabid left wing partisans on Twiiter trying to equate LGB with shouting pro-ISIS chants. Just stop it. Only a year ago the Left was saying the dissent was patriotic.

Your right, NBC didn't fire Brian Williams for lying so why should they fire Ms. Stavast.

Personally I would give her a raise because she has created a meme that has become the #1 hip hop song in the country. The left would fire her for exactly the same reason but won't because it would acknowledging the popularity of F Joe Biden .

Yes, she was lying. She knew well what the crowd was chanting. Rather than ignoring the chant and continue the interview she chose to misrepresent the chant.
Secondly, " ... it's your job to promote sports, " No, that is not her job. She does not work for NASCAR she works for NBC as a reporter.
Sadly, I understand the liberals desire to slant happenings to fit their meme the and the need to defend the indefensible when called out.

I'm going to give the reporter a pass because that really was a tough call for her, given she could not block out the loud background chants. It's likely she voted for Biden and had to come up with something quick because there's no way she could have mentioned what they were actually saying. The best move would have been to just ignore the chant.

As for your point HA, have you already forgotten about the 4 years of Trump ? There's too many examples of unhinged politicians, actors, "journalists", and just regular people losing their collective minds over tweets and made up conspiracies while the economy was booming and life was much better in this country than it is now.

9 months under Biden and pretty much everything is falling apart because of really stupid policies where there was no mandate for them. The people you say are acting like monkeys are people who are actually starting to suffer and are not screaming because they are offended by words, they are aware enough that they can see and feel the intentional damage this president is creating. I think a lot of people felt the same way about Obama when he greatly increased health care premiums and limited choices, but nobody wanted to be labelled a racist, so the F### Obama chants were mostly in our own heads.

If you think the chants are bad now, just wait to see what happens after another year of this presidency when even liberals secretly long for policies that are based in logic and economic sense rather than Bernie and AOC fantasies.
