Using the leftist strategy of bankrupting the country with forced inefficient and expensive energy, far more people are going to die from that than an extra degree of temperature. I guess some will feel better about themselves as the middle class becomes poor and the poor become compost.

The same thing has been happening in CA for a long time. There will always be risks like this when you have many houses packed together and have dry fuel connecting them all. I'm sure there have been instances of high winds in that area long before all those homes were placed there. I just get tired of man made climate change being blamed for every weather event... I don't think that is science.

U misunderstand me....I do NOT think man is the complete cause, but rather A HUGE contributing factor because of lack of respect for Gaia......rather stupid of humankind to trash their "home" and expect things to be "normal" or healthy.

Do you believe the people who lead this country are now or have ever been smart enough to change the climate of the planet without making the lives of humans even worse? Sorry, I don't see anything in our history that would lead me to believe that anyone in charge would have that ability if it's even possible at all. But of course the answer to my question is always "well, we have to do something". If the Democrats have their way, we won't have to worry about climate change anyway because we will have much bigger problems when we're waiting in line for toilet paper.
