As it turns out, the NSBA was consulting with administration figures beforehand, as Fox News has reported:

Viola Garcia, the NSBA president whom the Department of Education later named to a federal board, sent a memo to NSBA members on Oct. 11 (but dated Oct. 12), providing a timeline of the NSBA’s interaction with the White House ahead of the letter to Biden, which the NSBA sent on Sept. 29.

Five days later, on Oct. 4, the DOJ issued a memo directing law enforcement to investigate threats to school boards. On Oct. 22, the NSBA issued an apology for the letter."...

Is it really fascism if numerous states have stopped associating with that school board and even the DOJ's Merrick Garland is now saying they were too heavy handed?

That is why it is important to speak up about out of control school boards and bureaucracies. If the Democrats start fearing they will lose elections, they will become more moderate. And I still expect 2022 to be a Red Tsunami.

Sidebar: They did a poll in Iowa and President Trump beat President Biden by 11 points. Wow!
And just 12 months ago, the Donald had 80 million votes cast against him.

Immediately after the anti-police riots that thrust Rittenhouse into the national spotlight, social media companies began to block users who expressed support for the Illinois teen. Twitter suspended the accounts of users who called Rittenhouse innocent, including the defendant's own lawyer. Facebook said it "designated this shooting as a mass murder and … removed the shooter’s accounts from Facebook and Instagram." The platform also blocked searches for "Kyle Rittenhouse."

Social media platforms often intervene to suppress posts expressing a particular stance on controversial issues. Both platforms censored news stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop in the month before the 2020 election. Facebook blocked a Gold Star mother’s criticism of President Joe Biden and suppressed a song that criticized the president. Twitter and Facebook also suspended users who oppose vaccine mandates.
