We don't know who the shooter is yet but here's what we do know...
1. If the shooter is a white kid, there will be a whole lot of coverage for weeks and there will be the usual calls for gun control.
2. If the student is a black kid, the story will get shoved under the rug and forgotten as fast as the Afghanistan disaster and the Christmas parade terror attack.
This is how our media works and we all SHOULD be tired of it because it is dividing our country.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Crazy things about this case. The school met with the shooter hours before the attack. And some kids knew this might happen. Lots of absentees the day of the shooting. Bullying? Was it the cause?

the blanket statement u have made is questionable.....my POV, the generation of white kids r going off the rail,because they have NEVER been taught life is not fair.....BLACKS KNOW THIS FROM DAY ONE.

As usual, you missed my point. My point is that a black racist man can mow down 60 white people and kill 6 of them and that story is not talked about in the context of a racist/terrorist hate crime. As I said, since this was a white kid, the story will be very detailed and long lasting.
As for the stats you presented, I'll have to assume they are right for what are considered "mass shootings" (more than one). But is you look at all shootings I think you'll find a much different set of statistics. Mass shootings are actually a small percentage of shootings on the whole. In Chicago alone there have already been about 700 gunshot murders in 2021 and my guess is the number of white shooters is very low. Those deaths never get the coverage they deserve for obvious reasons.
