Dick Cheney, referred to by his boss, George Bush, as "iron ass"

, was welcomed with open arms by Nancy Pelosi on the floor of the House during Jan 6th festivities. Is there anyone who doubts the existence of the Swamp?
Haha, didn't know that but you're right. Trump isn't hated by Washington because of his mannerisms, he will always be hated because he's not part of that corrupt shithole. They must think there are a lot of "moderates" on the right who will join the Jan 6th obsession if they dig up a war monger they used to despise. Epic fail.

Despite shooting a man, Cheney's disapproval numbers never got as low as Kamala Harris's. Some people are floating a trial balloon of Biden replacing Kamala Harris with Lynn Cheney. Going for a bipartisan ticket in 2024. I am not sure that would help Joe in the primary.

Never in a million years. Cheney is a WHITE REPUBLICAN. If you can't imagine the nuclear outrage from the woke left, then you haven't been paying attention.

You are probably right. The Biden Administration really needs to be governing as bipartisan moderates but instead they will continue to lose battles again and again. When Reagan was in the White House, he reached across the aisle to Tip O'Neill and accomplished things. Biden just keeps flailing around like a drowning man instead of reaching out to moderate Republicans.

I think it is time for the White House to fire their Chief of Staff Klain and bring in someone who understands that the Democrats don't have a mandate.

Biden doesn't have the authority to pick his own Chief of Staff without the approval of his handlers (probably Obama and crew). Nobody is going to be approved who isn't aligned with the socialist/communists. Almost every Democrat has a different view of the filibuster than they did 10 years ago. These people don't worry about mandates because they believe they can get away with changing the rules.
