Currently watching the NFL playoffs. Pfizer is advertising its vaccine heavily, in my opinion, yet the CEO has admitted that the vaccine is ineffective against the current strain.

I remember something from a long long time ago ( a couple years ago) that “big pharma” was the enemy of the people. It’s amazing how perspectives change when politics demand it.

Why do you spend huge money buying ads for a product that is mandated? Maybe to keep networks on their side? Execs won't be happy if their news divisions go after Pfizer and the other vaccine companies.

Everybody around me is vaccinated and most of them are sick or were recently sick with covid. My best friend just got Omicron and he never had covid before and never got the jab, yet his symptoms are very mild. The jab is probably not much more than a placebo at this point.
