If President Trump Was Putin's Stooge?

Why did Vladimir wait to invade Ukraine until Biden was in office? Shouldn't he have done it in 2017?

An overview....timing is everything......notice the date of the article. Perhaps Putin perceived a "weakness" in the west (to exploit)....HOWEVER, the country invaded is MORE prepared and planned strategy is stronger.
A roll of the dice, because Putin plans to bring Russia 's return to it's royal position on the world stage

Per Townhall, 2/3's of Americans disprove of the way the Biden White House is handling the Ukraine conflict.

Face it, the Biden Administration is barely treading water.

Wait for what? For Biden to get a clue and change policies that would actually hurt Putin long term? Don't count on it.

Russia uses its vast natural supplies of crude oil as a major export market and one which has grown in recent years. In spring 2021 imports of Russian oil to the United States in their highest level in a decade, become the second-largest exporter of oil to the US later that year.

Across 2021 the US imported between 12 million as 26 million barrels of crude oil and petroleum from Russia every month. In November 2021, the most recent figures on record, the Energy Information Agency reports that the US took 17.8 million barrels.

I wouldn't expect Biden to suddenly realize Trump was right about our energy policy. If we stay on our current energy trajectory, this country will be paying record gas prices this year and there isn't a damn thing the government can do short term other than suspend the gas tax. Welcome to our idiocracy.

Of course there will be punishment from various different western countries, but so what? Don't you think Putin factored that in? You need to look at the big picture which is rarely noticed by the leftist journalists you like to use for your points. Energy runs the world and no country can survive without it. Use your common sense and think about it... the only way Putin gets damaged is if he can no longer sell his energy. There's also lots of other pipelines beside Nordstream 2, including the Nordstream 1 which will continue moving oil to the countries that will be hurt badly if the oil is cut off.

We could immediately go full court press and drop all the restrictions for our oil and gas industry which would increase supply and lower the price, which who hurt Putin's plans. Putin knows he has another 3 years of a leaderless America so that's why he isn't afraid of sanctions that may sting a little but won't be as painful as our inept leaders would like you to believe.

And Putin probably cares more about internal polling, and having Russian troops get back a province matters more than some half-hearted sanctions that will also hurt American pocketbooks with higher energy prices and smaller international markets for American farmers.
