It's The Economy Stupid?

The White House press secretary is blaming record high gas prices on Putin's invasion of Ukraine. If the prices remain high for gasoline and food when the midterm elections happen in November, do you think Americans will blame Vladimir or Democrats?
Especially if Americans see their real incomes fall? If you are having to spend much more for food and energy, will you cut back spending in other areas? Will parts of the economy go stagnant again? Like travel and tourism? Will Americans limit vacations to nearby areas? Cut back on home improvements? Have to move in with relatives to make ends meet?

Don't worry Fred, all we have to do is go out and buy a Tesla and get a green job.

The cackling VP just said this is a unique opportunity to convert our "fleet" to electric cars. I guess I can expect my 50k stimulus check any day now. Democrats have no idea how pissed off Americans are going to be by November, including Democrat voters.

OH YES and Trumps praise of Putin will put the R's into a tail spin....so-o-o, what we have here is an opportunity to OVERTURN the geriatric gang ...ALL OF THEM and install a new gov. VOTE FOR

My post was directly related to the topic, I didn't bring up a past president who has nothing to do with Biden's economy. As for "Indys", as I said before, you're either an Indy who votes for Democrats or an Indy who votes for Republicans. Calling yourself an Indy doesn't mean you're some kind of moderate if you always vote for Democrats.

Exactly. President Trump has been gone for months. But the Democrats and their media allies keep blaming him for stuff he has no control over. Meanwhile they give a pass to President Biden for permitting the invasion of Ukraine to happen. Ukraine was never invaded when President Trump was in office.
