Evergreen Residents -- We have a very important election coming up on May 3 for three members of the Evergreen Fire Protection Board. A Meet the Candidate Forum will be held Tuesday, March 29th at 5:30 in the Auditorium at the Evergreen Fire Rescue Administrative Building at 1802 Bergen Parkway. Nancy Judge from the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce will be moderating the event.
If you check your property taxes, you'll see that a pretty large part of your property taxes go to the Evergreen Fire Protection District. It is really import to our community to have excellent people serving on the Fire Board. Your vote really, really matters -- in the last election, Evergreen Fire Protection District Board members were elected with as few as 158 votes.
