1. Do you have a link that proves Murdoch gave orders about what Fox hosts should or should not say about the 2020 election? From what I know, most don't take orders from on high, but maybe you have information that can clarify that.

2. When CNN was sued for defamation of the Covington kid, was that ever talked about on that network prior to the kid getting millions from the network? I don't remember that happening and I watch CNN a lot (I like to know both sides of every issue and CNN parrots most of the left talking points).

3. When virtually every leftist news source was droning on and on about "horse paste" without researching what Ivermectin was and how it's been used for decades, does that matter to you? That's the point I made in the first post which you chose to ignore and not address.

Then there's the Russia hoax, Biden laptop, corrupt FBI and DOJ, and a list of other stories they chose to ignore or manipulate. Congrats on finding something on Fox, but I assure you I could destroy your argument if you want to go story by story... I'll prove your sources are much bigger liars. Wanna play?

I get my news from EVERYWHERE. Why won't you accept my challenge. At least do this one thing, tell me what your most trusted source is and I'll prove to you that they either lie directly or lie by omission. Here's your chance to prove to me that your favorite source is honest and worth consuming.

If you truly do get your news from EVERYWHERE, then why do you parrot the Fox "News" talking points so well?

I have previously told you my trusted news sources. When I ask you to do the same, you spout "I get my news from several sources," yet you don't list any of them. This leads me to believe that you get your news from Fox, especially since you so readily repeat their daily talking points.

You do realize that there are more non-leftist news sources out there besides FOX, right? Your sources hate Fox and other non-Democrat favoring news sources, so why would they not say Fox lies about everything?

The big difference between you and me is that I actually watch and read the sources you all trust because I'm fascinated by their bias and lack of curiosity when it comes to big news events that should be told.

The most recent example is the release of all the Jan 6th footage that your sources are completely uninterested in. Their only interest is in trying to take down the guy who is showing the public that footage. We've all been waterboarded with the selected clips that show violence. They lied about cops being murdered and they lied about the who thing being a coordinated attack, aka an "insurrection". There has never been an unarmed insurrection in the history of this planet, yet your sources stand by the big lie as if we are all idiots.

Lets take the scary "q-anon shaman" aka, guy with horns for example. In the last two years have one of your sources tried to find out what he actually did to deserve a 4 year prison sentence? Of course not. Doing so may damage the narrative that he was an insurrectionist. There's no way that even today, with the video evidence, that they would show their audience the video of him being escorted around by capital police, and that he said a peaceful prayer for those police officers while in the capital building. Do you think that guy was able to use that hidden footage for his defense at trial?

I can't remember who you trust and don't even remember the specific thread, so help me out and let's settle this. If you only get your news from one side then you are inside a bubble you are comfortable in... which is very sad.

One more thing, then you can have the floor for 3 days without me piping up. I only ask that you please watch a video, because no print can really tell the story like the story can. The guy with the horns was a big part of the story... he was the face of it. This was some big scary and violent dude that was there to run there to take over the government, with .... horns.

You may have to listen to the left's current Satin right now... because he's sharing information, we ALL, deserve to have! I just want you to give your honest opinion about this guy, if that was the only video you ever saw him in. Does he look and act like a killer or violent person?

I know I give you a lot of crap only I think you deserve, so I should probably go back to the other spectrum of civility... starting now. All you have to do is watch the video... please

And NO, I will not watch a video. You should know by now that videos are manipulative and present only one side of the story. I learned the hard way, after falling for Michael Moore's documentaries 20 years ago, that any video production is designed to spur emotions that make you fall for their agenda. If you are getting your info by watching youtube documentaries, you're being fooled.

You know Koobookie, ramage is right, your sources were only interested in the violent video, they were not interested in the other 40,999 hrs of video that told the other part of the story. People trespassing on government property taking selfies and having friendly talks with capital police… that is reality and it’s clearly displayed in video that our government is not disputing and claiming is cgi or something. It happened and your side is not only disinterested in more evidence, they are clearly not wanting anyone to see it.

Don’t you find that just a wee bit scary? Lots of futuristic science fiction books have been written that accurately predicted that very mindset.

You keep telling me who I should and shouldn’t watch or read. I simply asking you to watch 5 min, and you can’t even give me that. I’ll give you 15 minutes or more of any video you want that really makes a conservative or all conservatives look bad. I’ll watch the whole thing and I’ll give you my full summary opinion, so you know I actually watched it.

You once told me that you couldn’t have a productive conversation with me. I can’t remember your exact reasoning but it did stick into my memory. Will you not give me the chance to prove you wrong?

This goes for the rest of you who disagree with those of us who are right of center. I would love to have a one on one discussion about any topic we disagree on, which is pretty much all topics. It would be like sitting on my couch after dinner, just talking and trying to get to know why we think like we do. If you don’t want to know why we believe what we believe, then why are you here? What purpose does this exercise serve if we have yet to get anywhere?

I would love for any of you to talk about any subject you know well and challenge any of us to prove you wrong, as we would face to face. Bring your video or article and let’s talk about it. I think you’d be surprised by how kind I would be and I’d image you would be as well. Isn’t that what our goal should be… to make some kind of attempt to learn about each other and come together as a country? You know we’re doomed if we not only lose our economy but we also lose our love of country, right? We the people are the country and our media and politicians have pitted us against each other.

I started out on this and other boards as a different kind of poster, but I’m still the same guy. Over time I let a member or be two get under my skin… so over time I put on a new skin that was much thicker and I enjoyed it. It allowed me to be someone else that I thought needed to be like the really mean and nasty people, lest I eventually get beat down. Yeah, I was wrong.

As for my sources, and this is 100% truth, those sources you listed, that I assume you trust (please let me know if not the case)… those are my sources too! We have something in common! You missed a few that I occasionally watch like MSNBC. That one has a good morning show because they get the big players (government and private sector). There is no print media that can compete with the context that a visual and audio presentation can provide. Imagine only reading about Trump or Biden without actually witnessing those bad moments.

There’s lots of nutters and a couple hard core racists on that network too, which I fully believe are in the minority of that minority. But, when certain stories are in their wheelhouse, they get recorded so I can get a quick summary of their take. If you really want to fully understand the full spectrum of liberals, conservatives, libertarians, communists, you need to know how the most radical think, so you can measure the movement of the whole.

I of course look to many right wing sources depending on what event just happened. Where I first learn about a story could be from any source I happen to be consuming, left or right, or something that comes across my phone. But, when a big story breaks, like the train derailment, I first go to google and look at the top 10 or so sources. Then I use Duck Duck Go and see who Google pushed down the list. I’ll pick a conservative source first because I’m more likely to trust it, just being honest. If I think I got enough from that side I usually move to the left and pick at least 3 sources to quickly review and compare the narratives. They almost always align, as do the conservatives, for the most part. And no, I’m not saying that the fringe Maddow conspiracies align with the majority left media… nor do they on the right.

What I don’t think you understand about me, and I don’t blame you… is that I’m just interested in knowing what is the truth and why the left sees it so much differently than I do. That’s why I drive my wife insane when I’ve got Jake Tapper on the screen. It’s the same reason I stop going to places like this when the liberal voices all leave.
Homeagain is the only reason I’m still here. I was happy when Wayne was here, believe it or not, and I wish you would hang around more.

Ok, so now you’re thinking how full of crap I am and that I must be drunk… let’s just say I’m enjoying my new mountain home and I’m just too tired of being what I hate about other people. That doesn’t mean I’ve changed my view of the world, it’s more about running out of time to be a better human.
