On Friday, Wedbush managing director and analyst Daniel Ives noted how some might believe Musk is “using this Twitter filing/spam accounts as a way to get out of this deal in a vastly changing market.” Ives, who made the observation in a note to investors, went on to write that the “nature of Musk creating so much uncertainty in a tweet (and not a filing) is very troubling to us…and now sends this whole deal into a circus show with many questions and no concrete answers as to the path of this deal going forward.”
Musk will have to pay one billion dollars to walk away from Twitter. Continued rising interest rates are wrecking havoc on the stock market, dropping both Tesla and Twitter.
Maybe he should have waited until 2023?
