Jing from his Florida home, Steube complained about proposals to ban high-capacity magazines.
“The Glock 19 was the highest-sold handgun in the United States,” he said. “It comes with a 15-round magazine. That gun would be banned.”
Then he held up a weapon.
“Right in front of you I have a Sig Sauer P226. Comes with a 21-round magazine. This gun would be banned. Here’s a 12-round magazine. This magazine would be banned under this current bill, it doesn’t fit as this gun was made for [a] 21-round magazine. This gun would be banned under this bill.”
He showed another gun.
“Here’s a Sig Sauer P320. It takes a 20-round magazine. Here’s a 12-round magazine that would be banned. It doesn’t fit. Because it would be banned. This gun would be banned under this bill.”
Usually the Left is clueless about guns, but this is a case of a Republican not knowing his subject. Almost all guns have ten round magazine alternatives available. Colorado won't let you buy magazines larger than 15 rounds for your new semiautomatic rifle or handguns.

It is my understanding that one of the proposals offered by democrats is that any firearm capable of having a magazine with more than 5 cartridges would be banned. This is what Rep. Steube was referring to. The proposal will go nowhere but it is the democrat playbook to suggest the outrageous in order to get some other form of gun restriction out.
Colorado law prohibits the sale of magazines that are capable of holding more than 10 rounds. But it is not enforced.
As to HA's emotional outburst ( I consider her posting in Capital Letters to be that). It shows her ignorance of firearms. Glad that she does not have a firearm in her possession.

If you really think we are making up stuff, why do you even bother reading us? And if we bring a source, you will disregard the source anyway. If you don't believe us, research it yourself. You could probably watch the guy's complete video, probably on C-SPAN. Trust them?

I don't think I've ever asked for your source because that's all you provide most of the time. I always ask for YOUR opinion in YOUR own words. Obviously that's not how you roil but that's how political converstations used to be before the internet because a substitute brain for many people.
