Rumilly, who cared for the children of Sandy Hook, emphasized that long-term planning is crucial following such a tragedy, given its lasting impacts on the entire community.

"This is beyond a 10-year plan," she said. "This is, how do we plan for the next couple of generations after this ... because transgenerational trauma is also something that has to be considered. For people that aren't going to seek help and have symptoms, they're passing that on to the next generation of children."

I think the answer is more, "why do American children feel the need to act out by shooting up schools and other public places?" And why in the last three decades?

Do they feel powerless? Do they feel purposeless? Do they not have a good moral guide in their life? Do they want revenge? Or do they just want fame?

Bullying has always been an issue in school since schools first began.
And while social media has made some things worse, it has also made some things better. I know some kids who love Zoom School because they could concentrate more on their studies instead of worrying about bullying and how they dressed.
