Remember the Johnson and Johnson vaccine? Science and the FDA said it had passed all their tests and it is safe for humans. Months later they reversed their decision. Guess "science" gets it wrong sometimes.

. Washington D.C., in 2022, created the Strong Families Strong Futures program within which the city government gave away $10,800 per individual who qualified. Canethia Miller qualified having just had third third child.
Well,
", blew through the nearly $11,000 taxpayer funded handout in a matter of a few months. Over half of the taxpayer-funded handout was spent by Miller on a luxurious vacation to Miami for herself and her 3 kids. In total, the trip cost her $6,000 including travel, lodging, dinners, and more, including buying each of her children 5 new outfits; one to wear for each day of their time in Miami."

However,
At least she was honest, "Her lack of appreciation for the payout was summed up in the attitude she demonstrated in an interview with The Washington Post in which she shamelessly stated "I wanted to blow it. I wanted to have fun."

HA,
Your enmity for the NRA is obvious. However, the issue in the NRA is with one individual, Wayne LaPierre, the former CEO who is accused of diverting member dues for his personal use. The issue is now in the courts.
I am glad to see that you love guns, or were attempting to be sarcastic.

Ollie North was elected head of the NRA and tried to take on the corruption of Lapierre and others. Sadly he wasn't powerful enough and was soon sent packing. Sadly I am starting to see this with many charities and government elites. They are more concerned with feathering their own nest than doing the best for the charity or the general public. Luckily the charities are monitored and have to reveal salaries and other perks, and how much of your dollar donation actually goes to those who need it as opposed to fund raising and expenses.

Government politicians? Usually the press does a bad job showing how little the Department of Education actually spend on America's students compared to salaries and expenses.

Just another deflection. NRA dues ARE NOT TAXES.

just another deflection. NRA dues ARE NOT TAXES......per BB

ahem, FEES r money out of your (collective) pocket....those fees did NOT got to the org. for improvements to programs/teaching./outreach......they went into THE LEADERS' LIFESTYLE and enrichment for his own benefit......(at least THE other RECIPIENT OF MONEY,"had some fun"....which was always out of reach, and then took the remaining for productive profit.).....I DARE U DEFEND THE NRA'S despicable lack of ethics.

Don't be ridiculous. My point is that the NRA is nothing more than another deflection. If you want to argue that dues in a voluntary organization are the same as taxes, knock yourself out.
If you want to lecture abt the ethics of the NRA, knock yourself out.

Or you could skip right to your unassailable answer to everything, ORANGE MAN BAD!!

Voluntary fees are very different from taxes. The corruption was well known in gun circles and their fundraising declined.

Even their fundraising was being called into question. Hire mailer companies to send out big glossy circulars and in turn, these companies would hire your relatives in make work jobs.
So the 2nd Amendment supporters in the know, gave money to other groups like 2nd Amendment Foundation.
