U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland also made clear in a statement on Friday that states would not be able to ban the use of the abortion pill:

And we stand ready to work with other arms of the federal government that seek to use their lawful authorities to protect and preserve access to reproductive care. In particular, the FDA has approved the use of the medication Mifepristone. States may not ban Mifepristone based on disagreement with the FDA’s expert judgment about its safety and efficacy.

I think most people, even me, are fine with that. That's much different than killing a beating heart. If you think there should be no limit on when an abortion can take place, please state that instead of avoiding it. I respect people who are not afraid to say what they really believe.

THE ''PEOPLE' who make laws and the religious right R NOT FINE WITH THAT....it is the NEXT target(making it impossible,harder to obtain),fine doctors who prescribe, put restrictions on pharm at your local store,they r tracking this topic.thru the internet searches,cyber spying,compiling stats and WILL TARGET THIS NEXT. Wink, wink! Using abortion pills in the 1st trimester is a solution most of America will be fine with. Even the "Heartbeat" states.

Fred, that could harm planned parenthood’s bottom line. The abortion mills need that cash in these tough times. Besides, some women need up to 9 months to decide whether or not to kill their baby.

I am seeing all these Planned Parenthood facilities shutting down because of the Roe decision. I thought abortions were only 3% of their business. Isn't it more important than ever for them to stay open and expand their birth control mission?
