Will we see a recession soon? Before November? Unlikely since we need a couple of down quarters, but Americans still might decide it is happening and stop spending.
Plus despite lower spending, prices are still up. Bright side? Gas prices have been declining.
Side note: Europe is starting to ration natural gas because of Russian threats. This might increase the chances of a recession.

We are in a recession, they just don't want to admit it yet. Good thing Manchin saved us from that "Build Back Better" bullshit that would have made everything much worse.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
We are in a recession as Rick has pointed out. First quarter GDP was -1.4%, second quarter which ended June 30th will be about the same. Atlanta Fed -1.6 %.
However, Slo Joe's administration says that this is not a significant drop, therefore we are not in recession.

GEE. kinda like 2007-2008.....red lined economy rejected,UNTIL it blew
It is now officially a recession if you talk to leading economists. But the White House issued a statement this week that two down quarters no longer means a recession. This administration is a joke, they think definitions can be changed.
Oh wait, they also changed the definition of what a vaccine is. The mRNA vaccines are not traditional vaccines, probably why boosted Americans keep getting Covid-19, like President Biden.
