I don't think that Todd's family dines with the Palins at Thanksgiving. Begich is history as far as the election for the remainder of Young's term. The regular November election is still to be determined.

BORN would slice their wrists, than vote for Palin. My brother is a conservative Independent, I think the Democrat u r referring to is an Alaskan native Indian, she does have a following. I thought he was leaning towards her...But I known damn well he would not let his vote default, thus his SINGULAR vote.
Beigch is big name,NOT big farce....PALIN may have Trumps backing, but she does NOT have credibility and Beigch does.
Hope Alaska repeals their ranked choice voting system. A Republican won the most number of votes but after computing the ranked choice votes, a Democrat wins. This will make Americans even more distrustful of the vote counters.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Good luck trying to get the ranked voting system repealed. If you are successful try to repeal mail in voting.
The results of the Alaskan special vote showed that 60% voted Republican, 40% democrat.
The same candidates will vie in the November election with the addition of a libertarian that was moved up because the original 4th place finisher has withdrawn. . He is Chris Bye and received 0.62% (1,182 votes).
Palin and Begich will continue to split the Republican vote.
There is no reason to expect a different result.
