It appears that pinecam.com is on life support and that other locaL "blogs" are not faring well. Most of the commentators on these blogs are older in that they caME aboard early before the advent of the commercial social media site, i.e Nextdoor.com, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram etc. Unfortunately the aforementioned attract the younger population, who are used to posting in a "syndicated" website, not one originated locally.
Such is the way of business.
I raise a glass to MMT in hopes that it can still be a site where an algorithm does not dictate what can be posted.

insightful (AND fun)info. I guess u have to be willing to be "open" and somewhat strong,because it can get
seriously strident. THAT'S LIFE ...u learn to "stand up". (which is not a bad thing). NOW, with Cos gone,the void will be glaring for Pinecam and this venue.
Facebook is having the same issues. Their daily visits are down and their users are aging.
TikTok, the Chinese owned app that spies on its users is what all the kids use.
