Denver Post Sunday editorial today: President Biden doesn't have the authority to reduce student debt. The liberal editorial board here agrees with many prominent Democrat politicians that the Executive Branch is overstepping their authority.
The Biden Administration says they do have the right to change the conditions on student loans because are granted that power. Maybe if it was an interest rate reduction, but not when you are handing out one trillion dollars and adding to the debt.
No one was forced to take those loans, plus the easy access to money let universities raise their tuition faster than inflation.
Please President Biden and Speaker Pelosi, put this bill before Congress.

You just can’t do it no matter how hard I try. You can’t talk about what Biden is doing two years into his presidency without bringing up Trump and diluting the point completely. This gets so old and predictable that I feel foolish thinking something will change.

oh trust me, I am seething with hatred for that old man after what he just said about me and 75 million others like me. I can’t stand Obama either, but I didn’t bring his ass up in every thread, if at all. Trump supercharged the economy and gave energy independence. Biden is reversing it all and his policies will make everything worse as time goes by. But yeah, let’s talk about Trump some more.
