As CNN previously reported, federal prosecutors with the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York had charged Bannon and three others, alleging they had defrauded donors in the border wall effort, which raised more than $25 million.

Bannon was charged with diverting more than $1 million to pay an alleged co-conspirator and cover hundreds of thousands of dollars in personal expenses. Prosecutors alleged that the donors, including some in New York, were falsely told that all the money contributed would go toward the construction effort.

Oh, I thought this was another “Trump is busted” thread. Wasn’t the SDNY supposed to have taken Trump down by now? I seem to recall a few “wait for it” statements in the past.

AHEM....i HAVE ALWAYS STATED Q4/2023 OR Q1 OF 2024...SDNY will do due diligence and make VERY sure it is not overturned on appeal...THAT is good law.

Why so far out? If they have evidence of crimes, wouldn’t it be much better for Democrats if they brought those crimes to the light before the 2022 election? Do you have a list of the alleged crimes or are you just trusting NY Democrats that campaigned on taking down Trump?

NUMBER ONE...Timing is everything in life,the collection of irrefutable evidence is a major part,AGAIN u know TRUMP WILL ATTEMPT TO APPEAL everything. it will drag out because of that. i REPEAT,good lawyers
(which Trump does NOT have) will dot all i's and cross all t's so that appeals r not successful.

I have ZERO doubt Trump will be indicted in NY because these predictable losers know that it doesn’t matter if he committed actual crimes, the media won’t dig into it to find the truth. Lives are destroyed all the time with allegations that turn out to be bullshit. The Democrats understand their base doesn’t need facts to be fired up, just allegations and emotions.

Taking Trump out of the picture will actually create a bigger problem for Democrats, and the problem will be DeSantis. Their candidate will be one of the worst governors in the country and his name is Gavin Newsome. I hope I’m right because it will be a slaughter.
