I realize that there are few, perhaps only me, that are in Park County. But this is pure politics.
Dick Elsner. the "former" Republican Party State Treasurer is supporting a democrat to fill his seat on the Park County Commission. She was defeated in the Republican primary and is now running as a democrat. She is Elsner's hand picked successor. (Sorry, HA, but it is also a good old girls network, sex has nothing to do with pork). .
Elsner was forced to step down from his state-wide position in light of his support for a democrat. This race is still too close to call. With 12000 residents in Park Count and much less voters, it is difficult to imagine what is the problem with counting the votes.
