She’s a ‘no’ on so many levels.” Ms. Dixon opposed abortion even in cases of rape and incest.

For many voters, support for legalized abortion changed the election from a referendum on Democratic control of Washington into more of a choice between the two parties.

So the Democrats keep the Senate, keep the House. They pass a law to make abortion legal nationally.

Do the independents vote for Republicans in 2024?

THAT is a long way off.....much can transpire between now and then.

The democrats will most assuredly pass a national abortion law and it will bee struck down in the courts. This will be done to keep the issue alive (pardon the pun) into the 2024 election.

Will the national abortion law be more restrictive than Roe in order to get enough votes? 20 weeks?

The bill most likely will originate in the House and it will be similar to Colorado's law. Why not? It may be Petersen's first piece of legislation.
If the Republicans retake the House it will be tabled in committee.

Maybe the Democrats won because a cyber criminal robbed his clients to finance the election for the DNC. He was the 2nd largest donor to the Democrats after George Soros.
